Super bumper/skid is made of sturdy .187 thick aluminum with a brushed finish welded together with tubing.  Bumper is mounted onto original mounts and extends underneath to protect underside.  Does it work? I think so!  Shown below is me in my 350 with the same bumper recovering from a near disaster.
